Welcome to the PCMS Foundation!

Thank you for your interest in the PCMS Foundation.

The Pierce County Medical Society Foundation was formed in 2000 after the demise of the PCMS Alliance (Auxiliary). The Foundation exists to raise funds to contribute to local non-profit agencies in efforts to provide assistance for those needing help in Pierce County.

Each year funds are raised from the PCMS membership via the Holiday Sharing Card Project and the Annual Meeting raffle.  Members donate to the card project and raffle knowing that 100% of the donated funds will be returned to the community via local non profit agencies that are awarded grant money.

The Foundation concentrates on funding non profit agencies that provide direct care and assistance to citizens in our county.  Agencies that provide food, clothing, shelter, protection, healthcare and other such assistance are given priority.

Local non profit grant recipients for 2016 included:

Catholic Community Services

Community Health Care

Crystal Judson Family Justice Center

Family Renewal Shelter

The Neighborhood Clinic

New Phoebe House

Pierce County Habitat for Humanity

St. Leo Food Connection

Trinity Neighborhood Health Clinic

The PCMS Foundation thanks all of these organizations for their dedicated work in our community.

Thanks to the generosity of the PCMS membership, the Foundation is able to participate in helping them accomplish their missions.
