Pierce County Project Access

ER REDUCTION RATE 46% | 1% NO SHOW RATE | 75% SPECIALTY CARE DONATED

In the fall of 2006, a group of local physicians had a dream to improve access to health care for the low-income, uninsured in Pierce County.  Pierce County Project Access grew from that vision.

Today, it is a network of Physicians and ancillary providers who volunteer to provide care to the underserved in our community.  Pierce County Project Access (PCPA) was founded in October, 2009 and is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.

OUR MISSION

To improve the health of individuals, families and our community by ensuring pathways to health services for Pierce County residents in need.

OUR SOLUTION

Pierce County Project Access aims to fill this gap by partnering with over 700 healthcare providers and other community-based organizations to connect our patients to the medical care and services they need via our Donated Care program.

Our Premium Assistance program also aims to reduce barriers by providing financial assistance to low- to moderate-income families by paying the monthly premiums for silver-level Qualified Health Plans found on the Washington HealthPlanFinder website.
