PCMS members gathered on Thursday, August 17 to share a perfect Pacific Northwest summer evening at Titlow Lodge and Park in Tacoma. A prime purpose of the evening was also to welcome PCMS Medical Resident members, their guests, and families for collegiality.
Attendees at the 2017 PCMS Membership Picnic and Medical Resident Social enjoyed a buffet of picnic classics including burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, watermelon, soft drinks, and a wide selection of pies among other items. A raffle was conducted with prizes of gift cards. Raffle prizes for medical residents consisted of a night out at Point Ruston in Tacoma such as gift cards for restaurants at the waterfront entertainment complex combined with gift cards for the movie theaters there. Also on-hand were a variety of fun distractions such as regulation footballs, basketballs, and soccer balls for use in the park’s facilities as well as various games.
Bank of America sponsored the event to highlight their physician loan program. PCMS thanks BOA for their support of the Society.
