 Welcome to the PCMS Foundation The Pierce County Medical Foundation was formed in 2000 after the demise of the PCMS Alliance (Auxiliary). The Foundation exists to raise funds to contribute to local non-profit agencies in an effort to improve the lives of those less fortunate. The Foundation Board of Directors is committed to directing grant monies to Pierce County agencies that provide direct services for people who are most in need. Feeding and clothing the hungry, protecting the vulnerable, assisting the homeless and providing health care for anyone who visits a free clinic are the missions of the agencies they are proud to fund. Of course, the Foundation would not exist without the generous hearts and souls of the Pierce County Medical Society membership. Members donate money to the Holiday Sharing Card project, contribute to the Foundation when they pay their dues or participate in the popular Foundation Raffle at the annual meeting. Whatever their preference, PCMS members raise over $20,000 every year that is donated back to the community under the direction of the PCMS Foundation Board of Directors. |
