We offer candidates from a wide
variety of positions, including:
Receptionist
A Front Office Receptionist is responsible for greeting and
checking in patients. Answering multi-line phones in a professional
and courteous manner is required, as well as collecting and
verifying accurate patient information. Receptionists often
have the duty of scheduling appointments either manually or
on a computer system. Some reception positions will also include
the tasks of printing superbills, preparing and filing charts,
as well as other routine clerical duties.
Medical Biller
A Medical Biller is responsible for processing and maintaining
medical records relating to billing and collections. A biller
must be able to deal with patient inquiries via the phone and
in person. Medical Billers post charges and payments into the
computer, verify patient information and insurance coverage,
and handle referrals. In addition, Billers are often required
to research problem accounts and re-bill when necessary. Some
coding knowledge is helpful for a Medical Billing position.
Medical Assistant
A Medical Assistant (MA) can work in a variety of settings
from a Family Practice to Multi-Specialty clinics. Some responsibilities
of an MA include greeting and preparing patients for their
visit with the practitioner, obtaining and recording vitals,
and assisting with clinical procedures appropriate to the level
of training. An MA must be a graduate of a MA program (A, C,
and E certifiable), or military equivalency.
LPN / RN
Both a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Registered Nurse
(RN) have the responsibility of managing patient flow, obtaining
histories and vitals, and performing blood draws or other various
lab tests. Both administer injections and assist Physicians
with minor procedures or surgery when needed. LPN's and RN's
can triage calls with patients and order supplies as needed.
A current Washington State LPN or RN license is required.
ARNP
An Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) is a Registered
Nurse (RN) who has advanced education and clinical training
in a healthcare specialty area. The responsibilities of an
ARNP include obtaining and recording health histories through
patient interviews, performing physical exams and assessments,
and communicating patient care both verbally and through chart
documentation. ARNP's can prescribe and dispense medications,
and consult with the Physician as necessary. A current Washington
State RN and ARNP license are required.
PA
Physician assistants (PA's) provide healthcare services under
the supervision of Physicians. They should not be confused
with Medical Assistants (MA's), who perform routine clinical
and clerical tasks. PA's are trained to provide diagnostic
and preventive healthcare services as delegated by a physician.
Working as members of the healthcare team, they take medical
histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret
laboratory tests and x-rays, make diagnoses, and prescribe
medications. They also treat minor injuries, by suturing, splinting,
and casting. PA's record progress notes, instruct and counsel
patients, and order or carry out therapy. A current Washington
State PA license is required.
